iFAST Barakah ESG Focus Portfolio is a product designed and created exclusively for Bank Muamalat by iFAST Capital and with it, we are proud to be the FIRST Bank to offer a managed portfolio in Malaysia and furthermore, this is the FIRST ESG Focus managed portfolio to be offered in Malaysia.
Products such as Managed Portfolio and Private Placements were once only available to sophisticated and ultra-rich investors with minimum investment amounts of RM5 million, RM10 million or higher and managed by a Professional Fund Manager. This is the gap that Bank Muamalat is trying to close, and now, managed portfolio is available to all via iFAST Barakah ESG Focus Portfolio.
What Is Managed Portfolio?
Essentially, as the name implies, Managed Portfolio is a portfolio of investments that is managed by a licensed professional portfolio manager. The iFAST Barakah ESG Focus Portfolio invests in the Stock Market and Fixed Income via Unit Trust Funds. It is not however a Unit Trust Fund but is instead, a portfolio of 10 – 12 unit trust funds managed by a professional fund manager. In the case of iFAST, the fund manager is supported by a team of 30 regional analysts based in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
