Ez-Zakat Muamalat
EZ-Zakat Muamalat is the latest facility offered by Bank Muamalat. It will calculate and make zakat deductions on savings and current accounts of Muslim depositors. Bank Muamalat is the first bank in Malaysia to offer this type of Service. In addition, this facility is in addition to zakat payment services by the bank in addition to salary deduction methods, over-the-counter payments and internet banking.
Among these facilities are:-
- Easier for all Bank Muamalat customers who are Muslims to fulfill their Zakat obligations on their savings;
- Depositors do not have to go to the zakat counter to pay zakat;
- Zakat deduction is done automatically when enough haul and nisab;

Zakat on provident funds is zakat imposed on money deposited in savings accounts and current accounts in banks or other financial institutions.
