Menteri Besar Johor Launches New Bank Muamalat Johor Bahru Branch

On 12 July 2011, our Johor Bahru Branch was officially launched by Y.A.B. Dato’ Haji Abdul Ghani Othman, Menteri Besar, Johor.

The launch was witnessed by Johor Exco members; Chief Executive Officer of Bank Muamalat Y.Bhg. Dato’ Hj. Mohd Redza Shah Abdul Wahid; staff of Bank Muamalat; members of the media and invited guests.

Strategically nestled in the up-and-coming industrial area of Kebun Teh Commercial city, the new location improves Bank Muamalat’s visibility and is an ideal place to operate its business.

In his speech, Y.A.B. Dato’ Haji Abdul Ghani Othman said, “Today, the Islamic finance industry has gained wider acceptance and appreciation, and has expanded beyond the borders of the Muslim-based clientele and is fast becoming an integral component of the global financial system. Islamic finance has truly emerged as a competitive and resilient form of intermediation.”
