Football Talent Clinic With Tottenham Hotspur’s Legend
Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) organised a football talent clinic with Gary Mabbutt, a former Tottenham Hotspur’s captain and an ex-England player today at MPSJ Stadium, USJ 5, Subang Jaya. The football clinic took place on Tuesday, 5 July 2011 from 8.00pm to 10.30pm.
The football talent clinic was organised with the objective of giving the children the opportunity to learn the skills of football from the legendary former Spur’s skipper. This exposure will also inspire the children to choose football as another means of career for their future. The children were trained on the fundamentals of the game – basics and techniques and at the same time giving them fun.
Several orphanages were invited to participate in the football clinic, namely from the following orphanages:
About 10 children of Bank Muamalat staff were chosen to participate in the football talent clinic.
Football jerseys & shorts, socks, football boots and balls were provided for the participating children. After the game, the participants were treated to Kentucky Fried Chicken and Subway meals.
