Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) hosted an iftar event with orphans at Pullman Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak

KUCHING, 30 March 2023 – Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) hosted an iftar event with orphans at Pullman Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, the first out of six locations planned for its Majlis Berbuka Puasa series, an annual engagement to celebrate the month of Ramadan with the community.

President and Chief Executive Officer En Khairul Kamarudin, Members of senior management, staff from the East Malaysia Region and selected clients of Bank Muamalat were present at the event. Media members from around the region were also invited, to strengthen the Bank’s relationship with them.

A donation of RM5,000 was made at the event to Lembaga Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Sarawak (PEKAYATIM) and Pusat Jagaan Nur Murni, with each child receiving RM100 duit Raya.

The Bank remains committed to giving back to the community, creating #betterlivestogether and looks forward to hosting similar events in other regions.
