The Islamic art of Timurid (1370-1507) is used to decorate the cover of the Bank Muamalat 2003 Annual Report.The original piece of cut tiles mosaic taken from the Shir-dar Madrasa (Uzbekistan) has been redrawn using acrylic paint.The Timurid art exhibits the unique use of strong colours and bold element and this is used to represent Bank Muamalat’s agility and strength.Inspired by the unique form at the inscription which reflects the colours of Bank Muamalat. The cover design represents the form Bank Muamalat business strategies are aligned to.It indicates our passion for business and how we emulate the exquisite form of art into our operational strategies.
